Winscribe end of life – how to transition smoothly

Posted on January 10, 2023

Nuance announced in 2022 that its digital dictation platform, Winscribe, is to be discontinued and will no longer be sold to new customers. Existing users will be able to continue using Winscribe until either the end of June 2023 or end of June 2024:

  • Winscribe On-Demand (cloud-based version) will reach end of life on 30 June 2023 after which it will no longer be supported or receive software updates
  • Winscribe On-Premise (local server-based version) software assurance and patching will reach end of life on 30 June 2024. General service desk support will still be provided after this date during a supported migration to a new system.
